At Christian Salvesen we strive to design equipment that meets the specific requirements of our operations and our customers; our main goal being to reduce costs whilst increasing efficiency. We work closely with our suppliers to respond to the needs of the business.

We consistently push the boundaries of vehicle utilisation and volumetric efficiency through working with vehicle manufacturers and integrating innovation at every opportunity.

We created the industry's first 10m straight frame demountable drawbar trailer for use on a customer's contract. Not only did this prove to be a success for the customer, but it won the Fleet Trailer and Overall Trailer of the Year awards at the Commercial Motor Trailer of the Year Awards 2003.

Our latest project is our 'Concept Vehicle', designed to generate higher capabilities of vehicle utilisation. The drawbar vehicle carries demountable bodies with a revolutionary design of mounting and demounting which enables us to change the bodies of both the truck and trailer within 10 minutes.
