CAST is a supply chain network design application used to model logistics networks. We use it to work out the best location for a new warehouse or distribution centre and see how near that theoretical centre is to our current infrastructure.

The clear advantage of CAST is its flexibility - not only does it enable us to model an entire supply chain but we can look at specific parts of the chain as well. Fixed business constraints can be integrated with the most favourable methods to produce outcomes that are both customised and cost-minimised to specific business criteria.
