Christian Salvesen has operated cold stores in the UK, Benelux and France for over 20 years, having been one of the first companies to operate third party cold storage and distribution services. Our freezers are strategically located to provide both a national distribution capability and a local service to both food manufacturers and retailers.

• In the Benelux, we are the market leader in frozen food distribution, operating from nine locations and providing a national logistics service
• In France, we operate from twelve locations from Lille in the North to Salon de Provence in the South
• In the United Kingdom, we operate twelve freezers and offer a national service

National Palletised Distribution Services
From storage of product in our freezers, we maintain strict controls over stock rotation and offer our customers our capability to provide national palletised distribution.

Case and Unit Picking Services
Our cold stores also have dedicated picking areas, enabling us to offer distribution of case or unit picked product.

Stock Management
Management of our warehouses is controlled by sophisticated computer systems which maintains key data relating to every pallet's product and use-by dates. We are therefore able to provide our customers with up to date information of their stock position and, in the case of retailers, act to facilitate vendor managed inventories.

Consolidation Services
Many retailers look for us to provide consolidation services for their smaller suppliers. We combine consignments from many of our customers to ensure the minimum number of deliveries to a retailer's locations, providing economic distribution for our customers and improving efficiency for the retailer.
