Environmental concerns have put many restrictions on the lubricants industry and suppliers and blenders are under pressure from recent EU legislation to provide a more responsive and reliable service.

Christian Salvesen is the UK's leading distributor of packaged lubricants and we have developed our 3PL logistics service to fulfill all our customers' needs - evolving as their requirements change.

We employ over 600 ADR qualified drivers and own the UK's largest hazardous goods transport network. We provide returns management expertise. We offer uniquely flexible dedicated and shared-user options with next day delivery day or night anywhere in the UK.

We will ensure that our customers are working within EU regulations and our drivers take responsibility for holding paperwork and documenting the transfer of dangerous goods, which can be tracked and traced via the internet at every stage.

We our helping to grow our customers 'pump-off' capability. 'Pump-off' - from a large tank on a Salvesen vehicle to a smaller container at a delivery premises - removes the requirement for packaging (ie drums) to be returned for cleaning, disposal or refilling. It is therefore more environmentally friendly, and flexible.
